Make a tribute gift

A gift made in memory of a loved one, or a tribute that honors a person or occasion, is a meaningful way to acknowledge those who matter, while supporting the Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo mission.

You may consider designating Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo as the beneficiary of memorial gifts. Doing so offers a meaningful way to honor your loved one while supporting our mission and helping others.

Ask your funeral director to include the following in the obituary notice: “The family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice Foundation, PO Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240 or give online at hospicebuffalo.com.”

Additional Ways to Memorialize and Honor Your Loved One:

The Hospice Memorial Walkway is a unique opportunity to remember your loved one. Personalized pavers outline walkways and gardens throughout our Milch-Mitchell Campus, honoring loved ones who have passed in our hospice program. Pavers are available for dedication and will be engraved according to your wishes (space limitations apply).

Please note: additional charges may be incurred for graphics.

Contributing to this fund provides for the beautification of the Milch-Mitchell Campus. The Green Fund keeps our campus blooming and beautiful. The majestic surroundings bring comfort and peace to our patients and their families.

Honor your loved one with a Brass Memorial Plaque. Your plaque can be used to dedicate a Milch-Mitchell Campus tree, planter or bench. Proceeds are used to maintain a beautiful and peaceful setting for patients and their families.

Unique and beautifully-designed stained glass windows are displayed in the family sunroom and the Bender Care Center building. Each window can be etched in memory of your loved one.

Joseph A Albrecht III, John R Albrecht, Amy Albrecht Edgett, three children of the late Joseph Albrecht, U.S. Army Veteran and Roycroft Artisan in stained glass, stand proudly next to a memorial of their dad inside the Hospice InPatient Unit. We are so grateful for the legacy Joe leaves with us.

Consider supporting our capital fund and help us maintain the campus, while making improvements as needed.

Donations $25,000 or greater can be placed in an endowed fund of your choice. Your donation will make a permanent impact on Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo.
