Create a Legacy
Making a planned gift today ensures you help our community for many tomorrows

What will your legacy be?
Generosity comes in many forms and timelines. No matter how or when you give, your support helps enhance all aspects of our programs and services.
Creating an endowed fund allows Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo to sustain and enhance programs, services and research well into the future. Your named fund will exist in perpetuity and a portion of the endowment’s earning is distributed annually, while the rest is reinvested to ensure future financial growth. An endowment can be created with an initial investment of $25,000 and restricted to support any area of interest.
A thoughtfully planned charitable gift helps us continue to carry out our mission for many generations to come, allowing us to be innovative in our efforts and sustain the comfort and compassion we provide for our community.
In addition, proper estate planning will allow you to achieve financial protection for your loved ones and may reduce gift and estate taxes.
You may be interested in making a gift with a bequest through your will or a living trust. The Hospice Foundation’s Swift Legacy Circle recognizes the generosity of patrons who share their commitment to do so.
We recommend consulting your attorney when making or amending your will. If you wish to make a provision including Hospice in your will, you may do so by asking your attorney to add the following language:
I bequeath $ ________ or ________% to the Hospice Foundation of WNY, Erie County (Federal ID # 22-3137812)
Free Will (www.freewill.com) works with non-profit organizations to assist individuals in crafting a legal will in 20 minutes or less. You can make these important plans from the comfort of your home and protect what is important to you.
