Spiritual Care Week 2020

Spiritual Care and the Pandemic

Each year, our Spiritual Care team hosts an annual conference welcoming anyone who provides or hopes to provide spiritual care to others. In doing so we seek to enrich and expand the breadth and depth of spiritual care in our Western New York community.

This year, in light of the pandemic that has gripped the world, we have elected to offer a measure of spiritual care learning online. To this end, we are releasing content and inspirational reflections via social media, and are sharing a wonderful conversation between myself and the newest addition to our Spiritual Care Team, Amir Tawadrous.

Amir comes to us with a background in pastoral and spiritual care in both the congregational and healthcare setting.  He possesses a stellar educational background that spans the globe, and we are delighted to share his expertise and experience with you. In our conversation together, Amir shares with us some truly valuable information regarding how best to provide spiritual care during this pandemic.

We hope that you enjoy our series of videos spanning my interview with Amir, and if you’d like to know more about the spiritual care the we offer here at Hospice Buffalo please feel free to reach out!
