Hospice is... Wherever You Call Home!
Care in Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Facilities
While many Hospice Buffalo patients receive care in their homes, hospice care is available in Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, Group Homes, and Developmentally Disabled Residential Facilities. The program’s purpose is to allow residents in advanced stages of illness to remain in familiar and supportive surroundings while receiving palliative (comfort) care. Hospice and palliative care doctors enhance the care of the assisted living and nursing home team with the special care, emotional support and spiritual guidance that residents and their families need during this time. Hospice Buffalo care is available in more than 80 long-term care facilities in Erie County.
