Cheektowaga, NY -- The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care (CHPC), parent company of Hospice Buffalo, welcomes Roseann McAnulty as Chief Operations Officer. Ms. McAnulty’s role will begin with oversight of all non-clinical operations and evolve with time. McAnulty brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this new role. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer at University Pediatric Dentistry, P.C. and UB/MD Internal Medicine. In addition, McAnulty has filled several roles with increasing responsibility at the Nemours Children’s Clinic in Orlando, Florida. She has a strong aptitude for data analysis, quality improvement initiatives, finance and operations.
Originally from Buffalo, McAnulty completed her undergrad in Business Administration and Accounting/Finance from SUNY at Buffalo, and received her MHA/MSA in Health Administration from Central Michigan University where she completed her master’s thesis on Benchmarking in Physician Practices.
McAnulty enjoys building sustainable programs and services that are a benefit to the patients and community: "It is an honor to be working alongside the exceptional individuals at CHPC. CHPC is the only Medicare-certified hospice program serving Erie County, NY. The organization also includes Palliative Care Buffalo, which provides palliative care and consultation to any patient with a serious illness, regardless of prognosis; Essential Care for Children – a home care program serving children with life-threatening illnesses and their families; the Wilson Support Center – provider of bereavement, education and resources to people coping with grief and loss; the Palliative Care Institute – a collaborative training initiative with the University at Buffalo; and the Hospice Foundation of WNY – the charitable fundraising arm of CHPC.
The organization serves more than 950 patients each day in private homes, hospitals and nursing homes. Hospice provides care, support, advocacy, and education to people impacted by serious illness and loss.
