The Palliative Care Institute (PCI) research team received an $11,384 grant from The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Legacy Funds (Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo). These funds will support the 2018 research project, “Photographs of Meaning Program: A social media intervention for caregivers of seriously ill children.”

The Wilson Support Center is hosting Camp Blue Skies for children and teens who have experienced the death of a loved one. “Camp Blue Skies is a weekend bereavement camp for children to share memories of their loved one, identify supports, and learn coping strategies that assist them with their grief,” stated Abby Unger, Camp Director.
