Hospice, A Plan for Living
“What you give in this life, you receive in the next.”
- William J. Kirsch
My late wife, Jane Ann, started volunteering for Hospice Buffalo more than 20 years ago. Inspired by the way Hospice cared for her mother; Jane Ann became a weekly volunteer in the Hospice Inpatient Unit. Always smiling and cheerful, she brought a daily dose of happiness to everyone she met. It was her Hospice experience that helped her after the diagnosis of Liposarcoma cancer in June 2007.
Since Jane Ann’s passing in 2009, Hospice has become a part of me. I volunteer and participate in events – my favorite being the Hospice Memorial Walk. Raising money and spreading the word has become important to me. I make a monthly gift to Hospice in Jane Ann’s memory and have designated Hospice Buffalo in my estate plans. I am honored to give back to an organization that has done so much for my family and me.
Hospice Buffalo needs your help so they can continue to provide care, support, advocacy and education to people impacted by serious illness and loss. Please remember Hospice with a gift by December 31st. We need your support to make sure there is always a hospice program right here in Erie County to serve your family, friends and neighbors.
