Sunflower Days are here!  The sunflower is the international symbol for Hospice care, with its seeds representing the many ways hospice can bring hope to those faced with serious illness, their loved ones, and caregivers.  The Hospice Foundation of WNY is once again partnering with Wilson Farms for the annual Sunflower Days promotion.  From June 2 - July 2, when you purchase a $1 paper sunflower at any Wilson Farms you support all participating hospice programs in NY state.  Last year the campaign raised over $35,000 for Hospice services across the state including $15,000 for Hospice Buffalo. 

The mission of Hospice is to provide hope, care and dignity to patients who face a life-threatening illness and their families. In Erie County, more than 600 patients each day receive hospice care in homes, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, group homes, Hospice residences and at the Mary and Ralph Wilson, Jr. Hospice Inpatient Unit located at the Hospice Mitchell Campus in Cheektowaga.  Support hospice care in your community by purchasing your sunflower at Wilson Farms.
