If you believe in the mission of Hospice Buffalo and want to ensure that future generations of Western New Yorkers will benefit from the services it provides, you may wish to consider a charitable bequest.
Many friends of Hospice who were unable to make substantial gifts during their lifetime have made major contributions through thoughtful and well-planned wills. Others have used bequests to establish memorial funds in memory of a loved one. You may provide for Hospice in your will through a residuary bequest which would enable you to leave Hospice the remainder of your estate after you have provided for your heirs.
Hospice recommends that you consult with your attorney when making or amending your will. If you wish to make a provision including Hospice in your will, you may do so by asking your attorney to add the following language:
I bequeath $ ________ or ________% to the Hospice Foundation of Western New York, Inc., Erie County, New York. (Federal ID # 22-3137812)
If you have already designated Hospice Buffalo in your will or trust, we are most grateful. Please contact us at donation@palliativecare.org or call (716) 686-8090 so we can personally thank you for your thoughtful support and officially welcome you into the Swift Bequest Legacy Circle.
For more information about bequests or other planned giving opportunities please call the Hospice Foundation at (716) 686-8090 or complete the following form and a Hospice Foundation staff member will contact you.
