The Hospice Foundation conducts a number of fund raising events and special promotions each year. These events combine with a number of community sponsored activities that benefit the Hospice Foundation.

25th Anniversary Hospice Buffalo Spring Bouquet Sale February 28 - March 5, 2011
Welcome spring with lovely mixed bouquets from Hospice Buffalo. This promotion is the largest annual fund raising event for Hospice. Presented by the Professional Florists of WNY. Bouquets are available for $7 at participating flower shops, corporate & school pre-sale locations, and public sites such as hospitals and downtown buildings. If you are interested in becoming a pre-sale coordinator for your company or school call the Hospice Foundation at 686-8090.

15th Annual Hospice Buffalo Memorial Walk May 22, 2011
A 5K (3.1 mile) walk-a-thon to pay tribute to those who are no longer with us. Friends, family and co-workers join together to walk in memory of loved ones. Registration & celebration picnic held at the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf. Presented by Wegmans. |

5th Annual Sunflower Days June 2 - July 3, 2010
Presented by Wilson Farms stores throughout New York State. Purchase a paper pin-up Sunflower for only $1 to show your support of Hospice in our community.

Summer Affair August 19, 2010 Brought back by popular demand, this new twist to a well known and loved event will be held at the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park and feature cocktails and hors d' ouevres, silent and theme basket auctions and live music by the Strictly Hip. Tickets are $50 per person. Sponsorship packages range from $750 - $5,000. Celebrate all Buffalo has to offer this summer with an evening out with friends, co-workers and family. 21 and over event.

The Hospice Foundation's Harvest Festival pays tribute to community members who avidly support the services of The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care. The event features wine tasting, live and silent auctions, a sit-down dinner, live music and dancing.

22nd Annual Light-A-Life Tree Lighting Ceremony
December 4, 2010
Individuals may purchase tags & bells inscribed with their loved ones' names which are displayed on the tree. Gifts are $30, $55, $100 and $500. Each year the tree is displayed at CTG, 800 Delaware Avenue and remains lit throughout the month of December. |
