DETAILS: HOSPICE LIGHT-A-LIFE MEMORIAL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
Approximately 500 people are expected to attend the annual Hospice Buffalo "LIGHT-A-LIFE" Memorial Tree Lighting ceremony this Saturday. The Hospice Foundation's 21st Annual LIGHT-A-LIFE Memorial Trees will glitter with lights and over 1,600 tags honoring loved ones. The trees will remain lit throughout the month of December. The ceremony will be led by a bagpiper, drummer and the Westminster Presbyterian Church choir. In addition, Hospice Foundation board member, Dana Dee, will share her personal Hospice story and will light the trees immediately following the brief ceremony.
The LIGHT-A-LIFE Memorial Trees are sponsored by CTG, M&T Bank and Amigone Funeral Home, Inc.
Donations to the Hospice Foundation help Hospice to provide comfort and care to more than 600 patients a days in homes, hospitals, nursing homes and at the Hospice Mitchell Campus in Cheektowaga.
