What are Hospice Helpers?

Hospice Helpers are companies, organizations and community groups that organize various fundraising events and activities to benefit Hospice Buffalo. Many thanks go out to these groups for their time and effort. If your event raises $250 or more, we will list it in the following issue of the Hospice newsletter, Journeys, circulation 40,000. Funds raised through the Hospice Helpers are unrestricted and support patient care, our greatest need.

If your company or organization is interested in fundraising for Hospice, please download the following attachments. All organizations/groups must submit an Application Form, providing all necessary information, including targeted donations and sponsorship requests, inclusive of media, and a main contact person for your organization/group prior to the event/activity. Upon receipt of the application, the Hospice Foundation will review, and approve or decline Hospice's participation.

6^th Annual Doin' it for Dean Car & Motorcycle Show
A fundraiser for Hospice Buffalo, in memory of Dean Brown.
Walk, drive, or ride; everyone is welcome!
Saturday, June 2 ~ Gates open at 2 p.m.
Bowen Road Grove in Lancaster ~ Rain OR Shine
Registration for cars, motorcycles, & trucks at 1 p.m. ~ $10 admission fee;
Children under 12 are FREE
Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffles, Kids Corner with games, activities, and cartoon characters; live entertainment, & a car & motorcycle show. Vendor space available.
Food & drink available for purchase.

Father's Day Gift Wrapping
Our Hospice volunteers will be wrapping your Father's Day gifts this month at the Boulevard Mall! ANY monetary donation will be accepted for wrapping your special gift.
Boulevard Mall ~ Center Court: In front of Macy's
Thursday, June 14 - Saturday, June 16 ~ 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday, June 17 ~ 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Electronics Recycling Event
Be eco chic...recycle your old and no-longer-used electronics for a GREAT cause!
Boulevard Mall ~ Mall Parking Lot (Corner of Niagara Falls Blvd. & Maple Road)
Saturday, June 16 ~ 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Recycle old electronics, from computers to cell phones, video game systems, cables & wires, and MORE!
Visit www.sunking.com for a complete list of eligible recyclable items.
Sunking will make a generous donation for each pound of electronics recycled.
