General Grief Support Group - For grieving adults who have experienced the death of loved one. Meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Life Transitions Center and is led by professional staff. Donation of $ 5.00 appreciated. No registration required.

Suicide Bereavement Support Group - Meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Life Transitions Center. No registration required. NO FEE
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING GROUPS:
Widows Under 50 - An educational / support group for people who have experienced the death of a spouse within the past 18 months. They must be 50 years of age or younger, or have children under the age of 18 years. This group addresses the unique issues of the younger widowed person. The group meets for 8 consecutive weeks for 1 1/2 hours in the evening at the Life Transitions Center and is led by professional staff. Cost is $ 80.00.
Widows Over 50 - An educational / support group for persons who have experienced the death of a spouse within the last 18 months. This group addresses the unique issues of the widowed person. The group meets for 8 consecutive weeks for 1 1/2 hours in the evening at the Life Transitions Center and is led by professional staff. Cost is $ 80.00.
After A Sibling Dies - An educational / support group for adults who have experienced the death of a sibling. The group meets for 8 consecutive weeks for 1 1/2 hours in the evening at the Life Transitions Center and is led by professional staff. Cost is $ 80.00.
Partners in Grief - A support group for those who have experienced the death of a same sex partner. The group meets for 8 consecutive weeks for two hours in the evening at the Life Transitions Center and is led by professional staff. Cost is $ 95.00.
After A Parent Dies - An educational / support group for adults who have experienced the death of a parent within the last 18 months. The group meets for 8 consecutive weeks for 1 1/2 hours in the evening at the Life Transitions Center and is led by professional staff. Cost is $ 80.00.
Lighting the Path - An educational/support group for young adults (18-25) who have experienced a death of a parent(s) within the last 3 months to two years. The group meets for 6 consecutive weeks on Monday evenings. Cost is $ 25.00 for six weeks. Fall 2007 Session: Baldy Hall Rm. 106, University at Buffalo North Campus, Thursday evenings October 18 - Nov. 29 (breaking on Thanksgiving). Footprints on the Heart -Support group for parents who have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or neonatal (infant) death. Meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Life Transitions Center and is led by professional staff. For more information contact Fran Kane at (716) 862-1678. Hopeful Hearts - A support group for women who are considering pregnancy, or are pregnant, after a miscarriage or infant loss. Meets on an as needed basis. Registration is required. For information call Fran Kane at (716) 862-1678. NO FEE
