The Hospice Foundation of WNY's 19th annual Light-A-Life holiday appeal is a special opportunity to remember your loved ones during the holidays. For a gift of , a beautiful green, silver and cream commemorative porcelain bell, 13th in a series, will be personally inscribed by Hospice volunteers with your loved one's name. Each bell is lovingly handpainted by ceramic artist Becky Plummer of Barking Spider Pottery. They were first introduced in 1995 and have become collectible heirloom items.
Your gift will help to support Hospice services in our community providing more than 500 people a day with medical care, emotional and spiritual support in their home or a homelike setting, who are experiencing the impact of serious illness and loss. JOIN US FOR A TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY IN DECEMBER
As a special part of the Light-A-Life holiday appeal, the Light-A-Life Memorial Trees will be illuminated for the month of December on the front lawn of CTG, 800 Delaware Ave., Buffalo. A special tree lighting ceremony will take place on Sat., Dec 1, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. at CTG. The trees will be adorned with red, silver, gold and green bows and tags with loved ones' names on them. Complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and freshly baked holiday cookies will be provided. All are invited to attend this free event.
